ROB PEARCE ICIOB, MSc, FCIArb, MAE, AABRP
33 years experience as a quantity surveyor. 20 years experience dealing with all aspects of insolvency in the construction industry.
Experience
Initially worked for large, national main contractors during training. Freelance from 1983 to 1990 then with a firm of consultants in the City where he developed an insolvency specialism.
Since 1997, principle of Robert Pearce Associates with hands-on experience in many hundreds of insolvency cases for many of the top insolvency practices including PWC, BDO, PKF, MCR, RSM, Tenon, FRP, Mazars, Bridge, Baker Tilly, Zolfo Cooper, Grant Thornton, Kingston Smith, Moore Stephens, Deloitte, Chantrey, Vellacott, Hilco and others.
In addition to providing advice to insolvency practitioners, Rob has directly advised RBS, HSBC and Barclays Banks, plus a number of Asset Based Lenders, and recently to the Insolvency Service in all matters relating to insolvency in the construction industry, and in particular the recovery of debts.
Rob has a Master’s Degree in Construction Law and Arbitration, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Member of the Academy of Experts, Rob is currently studying for an LLM Master of Laws in Business Law.
PAUL CACCHIOLI BSc (Hons) , MRICS
Advises banks, third party lenders, investigative accountants and Insolvency Practitioners on various aspects of debt recovery.
Experience
Director of multi-million pound property services company. Responsible for management and direction of iinfastructure team, business development and budget management.
Senior Procurement and Contracts Manager. Key commercial position on £700m projects.
Claims/Dispute Resolution. Providing commercial and contractural advise and direction to clients in relation to disputes on a variety of different forms of contract. Analysis and assessment of contractual claims and the preparation and defence of claims.
Commercial Manager. Responsible for the preparation, negotiaton and agreement of final accounts.
